Director of Sales – Sardinia

We have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales to oversee pro-active and re-active leisure sales at a world-class resort based in Southern Sardinia. The main objective of the role will be to maximise room nights, ADR and total revenue in all properties, through consolidation of the existing markets, penetrating new ones and seeking new business opportunities.

Reporting directly to the General Manager and functionally to Group Director of Sales & Marketing, we are seeking an individual who has the following skills:

  • Excellent knowledge and outstanding track record of incremental success related to luxury leisure trade and MICE sales
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience with an international hospitality brand, minimum 8 years of pro-active leisure and/or MICE
  • A minimum of 3 years in management of sales team within hospitality industry
  • Fluent Italian and English is mandatory. Fluent knowledge of French or German would be beneficial
  • Communicates openly and clearly both verbally and in writing. Pitches information at the appropriate level. Listens to the needs of others before contributing.
  • A passion for sales and target-based performance
  • Excellent business hunter
  • Self-reliant, working with minimal control and direction. Acts on own initiative when appropriate. Takes calculated risks to achieve results.
  • Develops positive working relationships at all levels. Manages conflict effectively. Motivates and inspires others to perform

Director of Operations – Barcelona

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join the team at an internationally branded hotel in the vibrant city of Barcelona.

The main purpose of the role will be to assist the hotel General Manager in the administration of the hotel by directing staff efforts toward customer satisfaction, team member productivity and hotel profitability.

Primary focuses are service quality, operational efficiency, brand standards and guest satisfaction. Key Skills:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required. Four-year college degree preferred
  • Minimum ten years hotel experience required including seven years of supervisory experience
  • Must have previously held an Executive Committee position
  • Considerable knowledge in all areas of hotel management
  • Significant experience and knowledge of Food and Beverage
  • Managerial skills and decision making
  • Ability to meet deadlines, negotiate contracts of vendors, initiate, complete and finish tasks and projects
  • Good analytical, numerical and planning skills
  • Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken
