Director of Sales & Marketing, Prague

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Sales & Marketing to join the team at a 5 star hotel situated in the beautiful city of Prague.

Close to the Old Square and other historic landmarks the hotel offers both luxury and comfort to their guests and features a choice of dining options as well as an in-house spa.

Reporting to the General Manager, the main scope of the role is to position the hotel in the local marketplace through appropriate sales and marketing initiatives and to ensure the hotel product and services align with the positioning and brand promise created through marketing communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for Director of Sales, Associate Director of Sales, Marketing Manager – Strategy,  Marketing Communications Manager, Revenue Manager and all Marketing and Sales Employees.

Candidate Requirements:

• Understands the luxury market
• Has good business acumen
• Understands the US market
• Good communication skills both verbal and written – English is a requirement (Czech is not but would be an advantage)
• Current experience in leading the sales function with an international branded hotel group, in a city centre location with multiple competitors
• Ability to prioritise tasks & to manage workload using own initiative
• Proven leadership skills involving to manage, develop, and motivate the team to achieve their objectives
